Newer model year trucks use a plug-in module with advance electronic controls along with a rotating switch for adjustable high idle speeds from 900rpm to 2100rpm. Early model years utilize a toggle or rotary switch that wire taps under the dash to select different RPM ranges. Great to use for remote starters, PTO's and extended idling applications.
