Flo-Pro Diesel Turbo-Back Exhaust System Installation Guide (Part #1669)
Illustrated installation guide for the Flo-Pro diesel turbo-back exhaust system, part #1669. This manual is diagram-based: follow the images below in order to remove the factory exhaust and fit your new mandrel-bent Flo-Pro system, including clamp and hanger placement. This kit is a 5″ turbo-back single system for 2013–2014 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 6.7L trucks.
WARNING — Race application only: This system is designed for race use only and may also void the manufacturer’s warranty. Before you begin, verify that you received the right kit and that each part listed below is present. Allow the truck’s exhaust system to cool before removal. Always practice safe work habits — use jack stands, gloves and safety glasses.

Before You Begin
Flo-Pro performance exhaust systems are designed to fit stock trucks with OEM hitches, tires, wheels and spare sizes. Any suspension lifts or other variations may require modification of the new exhaust system for proper fit and finish.
WD-40 or equivalent will make removal of hangers easier.
A small tack with a MIG welder is recommended on all clamp connections.
Removal of OEM Exhaust System
Remove all sensors and DEF injector connections from the downpipe, SCR and Diesel Particulate Filter (DPF).
Unplug the sensor connection (shown at the rubber-isolated hanger and flange).Unplug the DEF injector / sensor line at the DPF before removing the unit.
Unbolt both flange connections and loosen the clamp at the tailpipe end. Remove the SCR and DPF from the truck, then proceed to remove the tailpipe. At the turbo, remove the band clamp holding the downpipe by loosening the bolt enough to unlatch the clamp. Pry the clamp away from the flange at three spots with a flathead screwdriver. Remove the downpipe and keep the band clamp — it will be re-used.
Installation of New Exhaust System
Make sure to place clamps on all connections before installing the pipes and muffler delete.
Install the downpipe using the stock turbo band clamp. Snug the clamp down so it will hold the pipe but the pipe can still be moved.
Install pipe #21452NB, inserting the metal hangers into the OEM rubber insulators. Sensors and lines do not need to go back on the exhaust system — read your tuner instructions.
Add extension pipes if necessary — 50012 is required for MegaCab/SB and 50022 for CrewCab/LB — onto the end of pipe #21452NB.
Next, install the muffler-delete pipe (50230), the over-the-axle pipe and the tailpipe, placing the hangers into the OEM rubber hangers.
NOTE: For some trucks you will be required to move the two rubber insulators from the SCR to the metal hangers welded to the frame of the truck by the tailpipe section.
With the pipes mounted loosely, adjust the new Flo-Pro system for clearance and appearance. Evenly tighten all connections and clamps, starting at the turbo and working your way to the back.
