The J-67 is as good as it's big brother the S-67 which has proven to be THE best programmer on the market for the 6.7L Cummins. Every single truck that we have loaded a Smarty Jr. in to test drive it has driven away owning one, they are simply awesome! Sure, the Jr. model doesn't have as many power levels as the Sr. version. But if you're like most and are going to maybe add an upgraded exhaust, cold air intake, and possibly a few other upgrades, the Jr. version is for you. Simply put, its easy to use, and it works. You can expect a very noticeable increase in power and a bump in fuel economy once some of the fun wears off.
This product is geared toward the customer who wants reliable and safe power for both the engine and the transmission combined with good fuel mileage. In fact, the main concern during the development of the performance software have been lowest EGT's and lowest smoke levels possible. Even when used at the highest horsepower level, typical exhaust gas temperatures are on average 200 degrees F cooler than with stock software! Under normal driving conditions Smarty junior can be used without the need for gauges, even towing up to GCWR!
One of the biggest reasons we choose Smarty, isn't because of the overall power gains, but really WHERE the power comes in at.
