After final assembly, our 68rfe transmissions are paired with a matched BD torque converter, engineered for tighter tolerances and designed for enhanced street and towing applications. The torque converter and transmission are then dyno tested together to ensure the end product meets BD闁肩儤甯￠崺鈧柛鏂裤€ requirements for ultimate performance and reliability.
The relearn procedure resets the adaptive mode of the transmission and re-calibrates the shift time. Not following the relearn procedure properly, can lead to premature transmission wear or even catastrophic transmission damage.
